I visited West Point Georgia a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to tour the new plant as well as drive several Sorentos over the test track that Kia has built there. The production facility is immaculate and the most technologically advanced in the world. From Kawasaki robots doing 100% of the welding to a fully automated paint shop to the giant Komatsu steel press, this is one advanced plant. I have toured many domestic as well as import plants and was more impressed with Kia's new plant than any other. They literally receive rolls of steel in one end of the plant and roll new 2011 Kia Sorento's out the other.

The Sorento styling is crisp and fresh with hints of the Acura MDX and Lexus RX 330. With optional V-6 power and 7 passenger seating, configurations are very family friendly. The ride is smooth and VERY quiet with brisk acceleration from either the fuel efficient 4 cyl or the V-6. Both deliver impressive fuel economy.
